Here is a very short article that I thought you might enjoy about how Rachel use to be a figure skater. Check it out:
RACHEL McAdams used to be a figure skater — but gave it up because she got too nervous!
The actress — who stars in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming movie Sherlock Holmes – says she used to love putting her skates on — until stage fright got the better of her.
“I loved figure skating but I was way too nervous,” Rachel said. “I would often suffer from stage fright. I don’t get it on stage, I have it on the ice. It’s weird because I rarely forget my lines but I would forget my routine. My knees would knock together and I would just get super, super nervous.”
Rachel, 30, recently insisted her success is down to a combination of hard work and luck.
“Well, just being here and having this life just goes to show there’s a balance of some hand guiding you somewhere, and at the same time, your own free will and taking the bull by the horns,” she said.
“I do think it’s a combination of the two and that gets you wherever you are. And I think there’s a little bit of control, but not much!”
Rachel McAdams appeared at Battle of the Blades, a Canadian hockey/figure skating reality show last night. Here is a link to the video in which she is shown: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8h2lQII91k
