“Midnight in Paris” #15 Top Weekend Average

The box office results are coming in from this weekend and “Midnight in Paris” collected $579,000 from just six locations since it got a limited release in only New York and LA before going wide in the next few weeks. It’s also number #15 at the current best opening-weekend average of all time.

The movie also made already a $5,899,206 Foreign and it only opened in Spain and France so far, taking the second place in France and the first place in Spain. Congratulations to Rachel & the cast/crew! We hope it will do only better in the next weeks.

In limited release, Midnight in Paris — the new Woody Allen romantic comedy starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams — collected $579,000 from just six locations. Its estimated per-theater tally of $96,500 is the 15th best opening-weekend average on record, beating the likes of There Will Be Blood, The King’s Speech, and Black Swan.
