“To The Wonder” & “Passion” Selected for Venice Film Festival

The official line-up for Venice Film Festival was announced earlier today in Rome and as predicted Terrence Malick’s “To The Wonder” and Brian de Palma’s “Passion” will both have it’s world premiere at the festival. Both films are part of Venezia 69 which means they are part of the International competition of feature films, presented as world premieres. For the full line-up be sure to visit the official website of the festival. The festival is held August 29 until September 8 in Venice, Italy.

To The Wonder” was recently selected for the Toronto International Film Festival. Let’s hope Rachel will attend both festivals!

  1. Yes, in Italy the Venice Film Festival is known as Venzia 69. The movies are listed under Venzia 69 at the official site, because they are part of the official competition :)

I have been looking through some of the passion on set pictures at http://www.noomi-rapace.com/ saying you sent them :) and it looks like that rachel is in the funeral scene you can see the back of her head with the black hat on. Also it looks like she is wearing the same black neck brace from the image were rachel is behind noomi :)

  3. @ Tempjord – Good eye, I think you might be right! But it’s really hard to tell, because we only see her back. I do remember an article about that day they from a German news paper saying they did see Rachel biking around on set so she was present.
