The 42nd Telluride Film Festival has announced this year’s line-up and it was announced that “Spotlight” is part of it’s main program. The festival runs from September 4-7 and for more information be sure to head over to the official website. The movie will have screenings two screenings on Saturday, September 5, and two screenings on Sunday, September 6, according to the official schedule. The Saturday 4:15PM will be followed by a Q&A Discussion followed by the screening. The official schedule mentions Tom McCarthy, Michael Keaton and Rachel McAdams will be there “in person” and we assume they will be present for the screening and Q&A panel.

In 2001, a new Boston Globe editor (Liev Schreiber) assigns a crack team of reporters (Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams, Brian d’Arcy James) to investigate Boston’s Catholic Archdiocese handling of a priest’s sexual misconduct case. The movie will have it’s world premiere red carpet screening today during the Venice Film Festival. Rachel’s co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Stanley Tucci alongside writer/director Tom McCarthy are present for the press duties so far. The movie will also screen during the Toronto International Film Festival later this month.
