The nominations for the 21st annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced earlier today and Rachel received 3 (!) nominations. She received two individual nominations: Best Supporting Actress for “Spotlight” and Best Actress in A Movie Made For Television Or Limited Series for her work in “True Detective“. She shares the Supporting Actress category with Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rooney Mara, Helen Mirren, Alicia Vikander and Kate Winslet and the Best Actress category with Kathy Bates, Kirsten Dunst, Sarah Hay, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Shanice Williams. She also received a nomination with her “Spotlight” co-stars for Best Acting Ensemble alongside the cast of The Big Short, The Hateful Eight, Straight Outta Compton and Trumbo. “Spotlight” received 6 additional nominations: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Mark Ruffalo), Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Editing and Best Score.
