“The Little Prince” Nominated For César Award

The 41st Annual César Awards (French equivalent of the Academy Awards) announced it’s nominations yesterday and “The Little Prince” (Le Petit Prince) is nominated for Best Animated Film. The movie became the most successful French animated film ever abroad in 2015 according to Deadline. For a full list with nominees be sure to head over to the official website. The movie will be released in the United States on March 18 of this year, and was therefor not eligible for this year’s Academy Awards. The movie is set to open the 2016 Santa Barbara International Film Festival next week, on February 3, as we previously reported.
