Award Season 2015-2016 Additions

We have added many great high quality additions of the 2015-2016 Award Season for “Spotlight” and of the promotion tour for “Doctor Strange” in our gallery. Rachel attended many award season events last year, including the Golden Globes and Academy Awards. Thanks to my friend Bubbles from Glen Powell Central and Lin Manuel Miranda Fan for the help.

Rachel Receives Film Academy Invitation

The Academy has invited 683 new members and Rachel is among them. Rachel received her first Oscar nomination from the Academy earlier this year for her work in “Spotlight“. Editor Tom McArdle, producer Michael Sugar, Sound department members Paul Hsu and George Lara and screenwriter Josh Singer were also invited. The movie won Best Picture earlier this year. For a a full list and all the stats be sure to head over to the official website. Congratulations to Rachel and the “Spotlight” crew! Fun fact: Rachel hosted the Academy’s annual Scientific and Technical Awards back in 2006, which is held two weeks before the Oscars. Additionally, Rachel made her Oscars debut in 2010 and presented the alongside “Southpaw” co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. She also presented this year alongside Michael B. Jordan.


2016 WHCD Vanity Fair After Party

Rachel attended the 102nd White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD) yesterday evening alongside her sister (and make-up artist) Kayleen McAdams and Sacha Pfeiffer. After the dinner she attended the Bloomberg/Vanity Fair after party. We have added the images in our gallery. Rachel made her red carpet debut during the WHCD and was invited by the Boston Globe and Sacha Pfeiffer (who she portrayed in Best-Picture winner “Spotlight“).

In a first, Vanity Fair photographer captured the action —literally— in video portraits and Rachel is also featured. You can find Rachel’s video portrait after the jump.

102nd White House Correspondents Dinner

Rachel attended the 102nd White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD) earlier this evening in Washington, DC alongside (Boston Globe) reporters Sacha Pfeiffer, Mike Rezendes, Walter Robinson and Matt Carroll. “Spotlight” director Tom McCarthy and screenwriter Josh Singer also attended the dinner. Rachel walked the red carpet alongside Sacha and looked stunning in a black Armani dress. The annual WHCD (a.k.a. #NerdProm) is hosted by the White House Correspondents’ Association. We have added the first high quality images in our gallery, but be sure to come back later for our additional coverage!

Award Season Magazine Update

We have added February-June 2016 magazine scans in our gallery. They are all mainly focused on award season 2015-2016. Rachel made it onto many of the top dressed lists.

Friendly reminder that the ‘A Celebration of Journalism’ event is today. The “Spotlight” cast is expected to attend. The White House Correspondents Dinner is tomorrow and Rachel is confirmed to attend alongside co-star Mark Ruffalo, director Tom McCarthy, screenwriter Josh Singer and Boston Globe reports Mike Rezendes, Sacha Pfeiffer, Walter Robinson and Matt Carroll.


“Spotlight” Cast To Attend ‘A Celebration of Journalism’ Event

Variety, SAG Foundation and The Washington Post will host ‘A Celebration of Journalism’ event next week, to celebrate journalists. The cast of “Spotlight” is expected to attend, but it’s not yet announced which cast members will attend. Variety is reporting the following story:

Variety, in partnership with the SAG-AFTRA, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and The Washington Post, will honor journalists next week at a party on the eve of the annual White House Correspondents Association Dinner.

“A Celebration of Journalism” will welcome journalists, lobbyists, politicians and celebrities at The Post headquarters in Washington, D.C. on Friday, April 29. Guests expected to attend include the casts of best picture Oscar winner “Spotlight,” Peabody Award-winning drama series “Scandal” and the ABC sitcom “Black-ish.”

“We are proud to partner with SAG-AFTRA, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and The Washington Post to celebrate these talented journalists who are the backbone of our democracy,” said Variety co-editor-in-chief Claudia Eller.

The White House Correspondents’ Association represents hundreds of journalists who cover the White House, including print, television, radio and online reporters and photographers. The WHCA’s mission is to ensure a strong free press.

Additional “Spotlight” Tokyo Portrait Session

We have added another portrait session Rachel did to promote “Spotlight” in Japan earlier this week. This session took place the same day as the press conference. Rachel is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress with floral print.
