The 2018 British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) were announced earlier today and “Disobedience” received 5 nominations, including a Best Supporting Actress nomination for Rachel. The other nominations are: Best British Independent Film, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay. Congratulations to Rachel, the cast and crew! Winners will be announced at the British Independent Film Award Ceremony on Sunday 2 December at Old Billingsgate. For the full list of nominees be sure to head over to the official website.

The Audio Publisher Association announced the 2018 Audie Awards nominations and Rachel has been nominated for Best Female Narrator for her work for Audible’s audiobook of Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Congratulations to Rachel and all the nominees. Winners will be announced May 31st in New York.

The Academy has invited 683 new members and Rachel is among them. Rachel received her first Oscar nomination from the Academy earlier this year for her work in “Spotlight“. Editor Tom McArdle, producer Michael Sugar, Sound department members Paul Hsu and George Lara and screenwriter Josh Singer were also invited. The movie won Best Picture earlier this year. Fun fact: Rachel hosted the Academy’s annual Scientific and Technical Awards back in 2006, which is held two weeks before the Oscars. Additionally, Rachel made her Oscars debut in 2010 and presented the alongside “Southpaw” co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. She also presented this year alongside Michael B. Jordan.
Rachel attended the 88th Annual Academy Awards last night. She was one of the presenters of the night and presented the Best Cinematography award to Emmanuel Lubezki, with whom she worked on “To The Wonder“, alongside actor Michael B. Jordan. She brought her mother Sandra as her red carpet date. Rachel is wearing a August Getty dress, Niwaka jewels, and Stuart Weitzman shoes. “Spotlight” was nominated for 6 awards and took home Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture. Congratulations to the cast & crew! Rachel was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the movie, but lost the award to Alicia Vikander. Rachel attended the 2016 Film Independent Spirit Awards yesterday, held in Santa Monica. “Spotlight” took home the Best Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Editing and Robert Altman Award. The Robert Altman Award is given to the film’s director, casting director and ensemble cast which includes Rachel and her co-stars Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo. The (former) Boston Globe reporters also attended the ceremony, including Sacha Pfeiffer. Congratulations to the cast and crew! The high quality images have been added in our gallery.

Rachel just arrived at the 88th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton. Rachel’s co-star Mark Ruffalo, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor, director Tom McCarthy, screenplay writer Josh Singer and the producers also attended the event.
