The 2017 Toronto International Film Festival closes today and the winners of the awards were announced with ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing’ winning the People’s Choice Award. “Disobedience” premiered last week, with very positive reviews and critics even calling Rachel’s performance one of her best of her career, we are now trying to round-up our coverage with the first batch of videos. The first red carpet interviews, (joint) press junket interviews and more can be found in our video archive. The movie currently holds a 100% fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes (with 10 reviews) and a 81 score at Meta Critics. We are hoping the movie will find a distributor in the US soon!
The French distributor released a new teaser trailer of “Every Thing Will Be Fine” featuring Rachel as Sara. It has French subtitles but you can hear Rachel’s voice. She previously revealed she is doing a slight French Canadian accent for the movie. We would also like to remind our French visitors that the movie hits theaters in France today. The movie screened earlier this week during the Istanbul Film Festival and had it’s world premiere during the Berlin International Film Festival in February. No release date has been set for the U.S.
We have added over 1,400 images of Rachel attending various events in 2006, 2007, and 2008 in our gallery. We have now finished moving the 2006-2008 public appearances sections to our gallery. Like in our previous updates we were able to replace most MQ photos with better quality and also added lots of additions. Rachel took a little break from making movies in 2006 but promoted “Married Life” and “The Lucky Ones” the following years. Both movies premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
