How did you get your big break? I was testing for a pilot to play Nancy Drew, and I didn’t get it. I went to another audition, but I was so devastated that I wasn’t even concentrating. I got the other role instead. It was The Hot Chick, and I switched bodies with Rob Schneider. I really have to thank Rob Schneider!

How do you want to be remembered? I would like to be remembered for kindness.

Jennifer Jason Leigh Asks … How do you find the emotional core of a character, especially when you’re struggling? When I feel lost, I try to remind myself that’s a good thing. Often when I’ve been lost in the past, some of my most interesting work happens
